Families are encouraged to attend this event and explore organic cooking with Chef Mehta by sampling his culinary creations. Attendees will receive a free copy of his book (and free samples,YUM!!)  which they will get signed at The Scholastic Store after the cooking demonstration. *Books are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis*.

At Family Day on April 9, kids and their adults will cut, shape and build a model of any boat imaginable with balsa wood and use Japanese paper for the sails! Markers, colored tape and an astounding variety of fun and beautiful collage materials will be provided to enhance your boats.

Imma Single Mamma Dating (part 1)

I recently  posted on my twitter page the reason I’m single…my answer? ….because I haven’t found anyone as interestingly weird as me and my kids…that’s why. And its true. I can’t say I’m looking for love at this time but I have taken  some good notes from dating in the past.  And I think I’m going to use these for my dating agenda.

My personal agenda for dating with Kidz:

1:   Guy must not want any kids of his own…from me.

2:  If he has kidz he must be an involved father in every way..Like my kids  dad.

3: He must not want anymore kids

4: He must be single

5: He must like Rock,Pop,R&B,Hip hop and alternative music

4: He must like piercings and tattoos (I plan to get 2 more tattoos)

5: He must enjoy sex(with me)…a lot

6:He must be adventurous

7:He must not be too shallow

8: He must not be picky

9:He must love Museums,Poetry,Comedy Clubs and Lounges

10: He must not be a recovering alcoholic or a soon to be alcoholic

11: He must be social

12: He must be able to carry on a good  conversation

13: He must be spiritual (no devil worshipers please)

14: He must be spontaneous

15: Every sentence must not end with “u know what I’m sayin”..because  I don’t…know what he’s actually saying.

16:He must love kids ( I guess that should have been one of the top 5)

17:He must be supportive of CC’s kidz

18:He must NOT enjoy skinny women (I don’t like the gym and overdose on cookies in cream ice cream at times)

……But Imma hot mamma! AAoooww!!

OK back to…

19: He must be taller than me

20: He must have career goals and in route to meeting them.

21: He must like animals enough not to want to kill them… oh that leads me to number

22: HE MUST NOT BE A SERIAL KILLER (or a Pedophile)

23: Must be mentally able to deal with the crazies I call my children.

I know there’s more but I cant seem to recall anything else
